I've worked on a variety of projects, from simple websites to complex web applications. Here are a few of my favorites.
Built a full-stack e-commerce and events platform for a cultural magazine using Next.js, Node.js, and MongoDB. Integrated payment processing for magazine sales and event ticketing, successfully hosting an event with 150+ attendees. Developed event management features including RSVP system and automated confirmation workflows.
Built a startup directory platform showcasing African AI companies, enabling users to discover and submit startups. Developed user authentication and submission system allowing founders to register and showcase their AI startups. Implemented dynamic content loading, search/filter functionality, and responsive design.
Developed an interactive web application enabling real-time information sharing and communication between staff and students. Front and back-end development using React and Express (TypeScript) frameworks. Services were containerized using Docker Compose. Implemented a real-time chat feature using Socket.IO.
Contributed to a team effort in creating a park management web app catering to drivers, park owners, managers, and passengers. Developed driver distance tracking utilizing the Haversine formula, implemented user authentication with JWT, utilized Redux Toolkit for state management, and incorporated form validation using Formik and Yup.
Led a team of three software developers in designing a Nigerian dating application prioritizing user verification and authenticity. Developed user authentication and authorization features and authored a recommendation algorithm utilizing Haversine, OpenAI text-embedding-3-small, and cosine similarity for vector search.
Built a mobile money application that enables users to perform mobile money transactions seamlessly. Integrated wallet funding, transaction history, KYC processes, and seamless APIs for mobile money operations. Ensured secure and scalable architecture using Node.js and MongoDB.
I like building things
During my time in university, I attended 1+ hackathons. People from around the country would come together and build incredible things in 2-3 days. It was eye-opening to see the endless possibilities brought to life by a group of motivated and passionate individuals.
BlockDAG Hackathon
Global (Remote)
Built HealthSecure, a decentralized application (dApp) leveraging the BlockDAG blockchain to create a secure, private, and user-centric system for managing and sharing medical records. Integrated smart contracts, decentralized storage (IPFS), and client-side encryption (AES-256) to ensure patients have ultimate control over their sensitive health data.
